Being chronically ill is an experience like no other. You are not dying and you are not going to get better - it is a ‘half-way’ place few people understand. Furthermore, there is very little available for people who want to share their journey of chronic illness at the level of faith. This retreat offers prayer and spiritual conversation on healing, vulnerability, affirmation and our special relationship with God. If you have physical limitations it is very important to phone us about access, stairs and facilities. Bringing a support companion is often an excellent idea.

Format of Program:

During this retreat there will be guilded prayer and input sessions, time for reflection and some group sharing. We will celebrate Eucharist together and although this retreat will not be in complete silence, there will be lots of time for rest and renewal.

Please arrive at 7.00 pm on Friday evening and we we will show you to your room and settle you in for a 7.30 pm start. (if you would like to arrive earlier or later, please advise and we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you and prepare your room) The retreat will finish at approximately 3.00pm on Sunday.
