A six day live-in group contemplation retreat based on Jesuit Tony de Mello’s book ‘Sadhana’. Sadhana means “experience” which describes well Ignatian Spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises where reflection on everyday life experience leads to prayer, freedom, discernment, choices, growth and a fuller life.
Format of Program:
This retreat offer stillness, input sessions, quiet and the opportunity for individual direction.There will be a shared Eucharist each day with lots of time for quiet prayer and reflection. Silence will be maintained throughout this retreat including meal times.
Please arrive at 7.00 pm on Thursday evening (if you would like to arrive earlier or later, please advise and we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you and prepare your room).
This retreat will be fully catered and there is space on the booking form to list any special requirements you may have. Fresh linen, towels, blankets, etc. are all provided and all you need to bring is a notebook or journal and a pen.
Please arrive at 7.00 pm on Friday evening amd we we will show you to your room and settle you in for a 7.30 pm start. (if you would like to arrive earlier or later, please advise and we can make the necessary arrangements to welcome you and prepare your room) The retreat will finish after 8.30 am Eucharist on Friday morning.
