Graduate Certificate in Supervision of Spiritual Directors

The units below can be taken individually or as a three unit Graduate Certificate in Supervisio of Spiritual Directors. Students who enroll in the Graduate Certificate can receive FEE-HELP which covers the full cost of these three units. Introduction to Supervision of Spiritual Directors

Wed 23 - Sun 27 May (Sentir (ICSPF) - Campion, VIC)

Supervision focuses on the development of the skills, attitudes and knowledge in both those in formation and members of the ministry. This five-day (36-hour) intensive unit aims to help spiritual directors grow in the competencies necessary to supervise others in the ministry. This program can be done as part of the Graduate Certificate in Supervision (Spiritual Direction). ($960 live out)

Each day will be devoted to the theory and practice of supervision. Using live interviews, videos, verbatims, case studies and role-plays we will explore and practice different processes that can assist the supervisor in engaging the supervisee in the supervision process. 

Professional Development for Supervisors of Spiritual Directors

Sat 26 - Sun 27 May (Sentir Campion, VIC)

This two day workshop is an ideal opportunity for those in the ministry of supervision of spiritual
directors to enhance their skills. Janet comes with a wealth of experience and has published five books and numerous articles on spiritual direction and supervision, and other topics in spirituality. ($350 live out).

Peer and Group Supervision

Mon 27 – Fri 31 Aug (Sentir (ICSPF) - Campion, VIC)

This five-day (36-hour) intensive unit introduces spiritual directors to peer and group supervision which are adjuncts to individual supervision. Group supervision develops the directing skills of the spiritual directors within the group. Peer groups offer opportunities for ongoing formation among spiritual directors. This program can be done as part of the Graduate Certificate in Supervision (Spiritual Direction) ($960 live out)

Supervision and the Discernment of Spirits

Mon 3 - Fri 7 Sep (Sentir (ICSPF), Campion, VIC)

This five day (36 hour) intensive unit aims to help spiritual directors grow in the skills necessary to supervise others involved in the ministry of spiritual direction, with a particular focus on the Ignatian Rules for Discernment of Spirits. The program can be completed as part of the Graduate Certificate in Supervision (SD). ($960 live out)

Each day will be devoted to the theory and practice of supervision. Using live interviews, videos, verbatims, case studies and role-plays we will explore and practice different processes that can assist the supervisor in engaging the supervisee in the supervision process. 

Campion Centre of Ignatian Spirituality is a not-for-profit organisation and the suggested donation enables us to cover costs. Anything above this recommended donation makes it possible for us to subsidise those who cannot afford a full donation - it is the policy of our Centres that nobody be excluded from a retreat or program due to cost.
