Margaret Silf
British Ignatian retreat facilitator Margaret Silf has arrived in Australia to conduct a series of seminars, workshops and retreats for the Centres of Ignatian Spirituality.
Margaret is the author of many books on the spiritual journey for modern-day pilgrims, including Landmarks, Taste and See, Wayfaring, Sacred Spaces, At Sea with God, The Way of Wisdom and Roots and Wings-The human journey from a speck of stardust to a spark of God.
She is a regular columnist for America magazine and contributor to the ‘New Daylight' devotional notes produced by the UK-registered charity Bible Reading Fellowship.
‘She's one of those rare creatures who is quite brilliant in her area and astonishingly humble, and incredibly articulate, in the way she speaks about and applies Ignatian spirituality', said Ruth Morgan, director of the Canisius Centre of Ignatian Spirituality in Sydney
No prior knowledge of Ignatian spirituality is assumed, and those familiar with the Spiritual Exercises will find the workshop offering fresh approaches to help make the Exercises more accessible.
Venue: St Paul’s Theological College, Banyo. Numbers of bookings will determine the exact location for the workshops.
Three free-standing sessions are to be held per day, so that participants are free to attend any or all of the modules. ($20 per session or $50 per day).
When booking, (and you will need to book), it would be appreciated if cheques could be made out in advance to the “Faber Centre of Ignatian Spirituality” (PO Box 110 Banyo QLD 4014)
