2009 Province Retreat - Registration Form 

To register for the 2009 Province Retreat, fill in the details below and click submit. Before filling out this form, please ensure that you have consulted with your Head of Ministry (if you are a lay colleague) or the Superior of your Community (if you are a Jesuit). Once we receive your application you will be contacted by the Secretary at Campion Centre of Ignatian Spirituality to confirm your registration and payment details.

Ignatius grew to trust his life experience as God's chapel and classroom.  He began to attend deeply to the way God self-revealed, and he made decisions based on these revelations.  Through the Eyes of Ignatius invites us to connect again with ourselves and our lives, trusting this as the way in which God opens a vision for each one and for all. Saint Ignatius of Loyola offers us a vision for life.  His vision takes in how we see our world, how we see our lives and how we grow in our relationships with God. During this retreat we will walk with Ignatius, looking through the eyes of our hearts to experience the classroom in which God taught Ignatius as a child.

2009 presenters: The sessions will be led by members of the Province spirituality ministry who will draw on their field of expertise to help you engage using many different forms of meditation and reflection on your prayer each day.

        Michael Smith SJ – Ignatian contemplation

What to expect ...

  • There will be an atmosphere of silence at these retreats
  • Different members of the team will give a thirty-minute exploration of “points” for reflection each morning at 9am
  • There will be a liturgy each day at 5.15pm with the homily based on both the readings of the day and the general theme for the day
  • One-to-one spiritual direction will be available
  • In the afternoon, faith-sharing in small groups will be available for those who wish
  • There will be an evening session at 7.30pm at which there will be various prayer experiences offered including guided meditation, film, poetry, music and art
